Great work on the contest this year and congratulations to the winners.

FWIW, my record is 7 wins and 11 lossess. I dropped out after week 18 and made no picks for week 19 - 21. Not sure the rationale of counting a no play as a loss in this contest. Especially since wins/points determine the final placing, as is the case in all of the contests on this site over the past several years (one exception - last year's weekly college contest has some weird tiebreaker criteria where the side did not determine the final winner).

I noted that approximately 105 (plus or minus 2) contestants started in week 1 of the NFL contest and for the final week 21 only 27 contestants posted a pick including the leaders. Nothing unusal about this. As in all the other contests on this site, the drop off rate by the final couple of weeks is normally 60% to 75% of the contestants who don't have a chance to place.

Suggestion, next year, if a person doesn't post a a pick simply no win or points, it's really not a loss.

I will take that suggestion into account. I will just need to tweak the database.

I just had the database formatted to automatically count it a no pick as a loss, I just didn't want to waste time dropping people who stopped making selections in the post season. It just became to burdensome.

Here is the update standings of everyone that made picks during the season.

I am looking forward to moving up the list of best cappers due to a very good college and pro season.
