Tonight's Aggies Vs Hokies WINNER!

Starting at 7:30 PM EST the Texas A&M Aggies with a 2-0 record head to Virginia to do battle with the Hokies of VA Tech, who also own a 2-0 record. With Isabel heading inland, expect a soggy field as the game time forecast calls for heavy rain and high winds, temperatures in the upper 60's. Don't expect to see only horrid playing conditions, also expect to see a "Sea Of Orange" as the fans will be literally showing off their team's colors because the Student Government at Virginia Tech is sponsoring VT Orange Effect 2003, a plan to cover Lane Stadium in Orange. The Student Government Association (SGA) at Virginia Tech is promoting the Texas A&M game tonight as Orange Effect 2003. The SGA is asking that all fans coming to Thursday's showdown with the Aggies wear orange in support of the Hokies! A Prime Time ESPN matchup combined with this promotion, you will see a very spirited home crowd which so often get's their team "pumped".
The No. 8th ranked Hokies are 1-0 ATS (Against The Spread), while the No. 20th ranked Aggies have yet to cash with an 0-2 ATS record. Both games played by the Aggies has been played on grass, and away from home. Facing the same circumstances tonight behind a hostile Hokies crowd, Tech should have the advantage and will blemish the 2-0 Aggies SU (Straight Up) record and push them to 2-1 and possibly out of the top 25. But covering the spread tonight for the Hokies will be a large task at hand. With poor playing conditions and high winds, scoring should be at a premium on both sides of the offense.
Take the Aggies plus the points! Just too many points to give up in a game of this caliber and with scoring at a premium, this game has the potential to be determined by turnovers or one big play. Everyone here has the opportunity of coming out a winner, as the home crowd will be smiling while wearing orange seeing their team prevail in a sloppy "Dog Fight" getting the win, but take the Aggies and the points and you'll be seeing green while cashing!
