California (+13.5) +7 over USC
Most people are making a Huge deal about that this is Cal’s sixth game five weeks. We say Who Cares! This team is now in shape and has been thru the wars necessary to improve your team. QB Rodgers has upgraded the Bears offense, taking full advantage of the available weapons this team utilizes, including WR McAuthur who already has 35 receptions. The Trojans are loaded again thanks to C Carroll. Inexperienced QB Lienart is being sheltered by a variety of outstanding performers around him. However, we believe C Tedford is truly solid coach who will devise a gameplan to deceive the Trojans and score enough points to keep this contest close. The Berkeley Bears have covered 6 of 8 against the USC fun bunch and are skilled enough for a strong backdoor cover. If this game goes to California + 14, this becomes a 2* play.
Oregon State (-6) 12 over Arizona State
The Beavers are 14-2 ATS as a home favorite most recently. The host in this series is 14-2 ATS in the last 16 contests. The Sun Devils offense is considered to be solid, but is in fact very ordinary, averaging only 5.1 per play. The running back by committee has not performed for C Koetter, who has announced he will name a true starter this week. The Oregon State offense is not performing up to expectations thus far this season. The running game is effective averaging 180 yards per game. 6’6 QB Anderson is only throwing at a 47% clip, including a brutal performance at Fresno State. In the friendly surroundings of Corvallis, he is averaging 314 ypg passing. Both teams have struggled thus far this season, but our Impact Power Ratings call for a 12-point victory for the Beavers and we see no reason to differ.

San Diego State (+10) +7 over UCLA
This series has been one-sided with the Bruins 9-1 SU and ATS against the Aztecs. The Aztecs are current #2 nationally in total defense against a weak non-conference schedule. This is includes with a strong performance against Ohio State. UCLA new offense has been offensive. The Bruins are averaging only 14 points per game against solid competition and 239 yards per game. San Diego State coaches have put extra emphasis on this game in order to break the awful streak and do some damage to a Pac-10 team. Look for a low scoring under the wire cover by the Aztecs.
Thus far this season in college football, AF of 1 to 6.5 points are 13-2 ATS. This week’s teams are:
Minnesota, Western Michigan, Arkansas, Wisconsin and Pittsburgh.
Keep a close eye on these teams this weekend.

Philadelphia (+4) 1 over Buffalo
The Eagles are off to a horrific start losing both games at home. The Eagles may well have one of those years where a number of things go wrong for them. In the NFL you can never discount urgency by a particular team. The Eagles appear clearly not to be as talented, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The offense that QB McNabb has been able to carry by himself has begun to show the true limitations that have existed. Either Donavan plays great or the Eagles lose. Impact Sports is not talking about a season but a one game scenario. In this league it is about certain situations and we believe that this one of them. Take a one game situation, where the Bills are 1-9 ATS after Miami, and couple that with the Eagles are 22-10 ATS as RD and we see Philadelphia soaring to a minor upset victory.
