    Texas Tech -5 (-10) over Texas A&M

To start with we hope you want to stay up late to watch this game which starts at 10:00 P.M. EST. Footballs will be flying at a rate that should keep you up well past 2:00 A.M. on the East Coast. QB BJ Symons and his passing mates are averaging 495 yards passing per contest. (Not a misprint) The Red Raiders have played like they could care less about defense by the fact they have given up 40+ points in each of their last 2 games.
Texas A&M has shown the ability to consistently move the ball yet does not have the points to show for it. Texas Tech has owned the Aggies with a 9-2 ATS record. The Red Raiders are 8-2 as a home favorite while Texas A&M is just 3-11 ATS as a road dog. Look for an old fashioned Texas shoot-out in Lubbock with the Red Raiders having enough ammo to finish off the Aggies.

    Georgia – 12.5 (-20) over Alabama

The Crimson Tide are off two tough loses at home. The last game vs Arkansas was particularly galling since they had a 21-point lead in the 3rd quarter and lost in overtime. With that in mind now they have to travel to Athens and prepare to play a rested and hungry opponent off a loss. What are the chances? Georgia has been bitten by the injury bug this season and now after the bye week should be nearly as healthy as they have been all year. Conversely, QB Coyle did not practice all week due to a shoulder injury that you would believe would limit his effectiveness. This is Alabama’s first road game of the season after 5 straight home games. Teams that start the season with 4 or more home games and then play on the road cover less than 35% of the time on enemy turf. In spite of the Crimson Tide 9-1 ATS record as a road dog of 6 or more points we will side with the more balanced and hungry Bulldog team.

    Nevada +5.5 (-1) over UNLV

UNLV is off to a good start this season with a 3-1 record, now that the Jason Thomas era is over. Two of the Rebels recent victories have been against quality competition in Wisconsin and Hawaii. The downside of those victories is the fact that they were outgained 726- 482. Fortunately the Rebels created numerous turnovers that lead to points and thus victories. Nevada has been solid all year on offense and defense which has lead to their 3-1 record. The Wolfpack have outgained the opposition 380-331 ypg and more importantly have out rushed their opponent 174-135 ypg. Nevada is off a flat spot against SMU, and we are presuming they were looking ahead to this contest. Nevada is in a double revenge situation against their most hated rival, we suggest you take the generous points and look for the outright upset in Reno!

    Buffalo -8 (-13) over Cincinnati
The Bills are coming off a humiliating loss at home to Philadelphia. Buffalo was out hit and out hustled for over 3 quarters before finally making a late run to no avail. The lack of a running game has severely hampered the Bills and QB Bledsoe in particular. Cincinnati won their first game of the year with an upset victory at division rival Cleveland. The Bengals move the ball fairly consistently against the Brownies and made all the plays when it was necessary to preserve the victory. This week we believe things will be significantly different. One of the keys to selecting NFL Winners is identifying desperate teams who have to win. The Bills fit this profile to a tee in week 5. After two strong performances to start the season they have followed those up with two poor ones. If Buffalo is to compete in the AFC East they must win this game. Keep in mind that teams with a .250 winning percentage or less from the previous season only cover the spread 27% in their next game after a win, if they are on the road and a dog.
