  • Tuesday NBA...Warriors at Sonics

    10.05pm ET
Golden State Warriors @ Seattle SuperSonics

The Golden State Warriors may have tied a NBA record for offensive incompetence in their last game but tonight we're expecting them to combine for 200+ points with the Seattle SuperSonics.

Golden State scored just two points in the fourth quarter against the Raptors Sunday but they normally come out running following a poor offensive performance. The Warriors are 8-1 Over/Under this season and 14-5 O/U the last three seasons following games in which they score less than 85 points.

The Warriors' last six road games have averaged exactly 199 ppg and they have allowed at least 103 points in all but one of those games so Seattle should have no problems scoring 100+ tonight. And the Sonics are allowing an average of 104.2 ppg in their last eight games overall so tonight we expect Golden State to get to triple figures as well.

Golden State are 9-5 O/U this season and 37-25 O/U the last three seasons against Pacific division opponents.

Seattle own the NBA's third-best offense (97.7 ppg) and are consistently involved in high scoring games at home. In their last thirteen games at KeyArena the combined score reads as follows...186, 206, 223, 234, 199, 190, 200, 238, 197, 227, 220, 190 and 206. That is an amazing average of 208.9 ppg at home since late December! The Sonics have been favored by 3.5 to 6 points on six occasions this season and the Over has cashed in all but one of those games.

Tonight features a match-up of above average offense and limited defense and we're confident of this one going Over the total.
