  • Tuesday NBA...Mavs at Grizzlies

    8pm ET
    Dallas Mavericks @ Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies have won 16 of their last 20 home games and we expect them to post another win tonight when they host the high-flying Dallas Mavericks.

Memphis own a .731 winning mark at home this season while Dallas are just a .400 road team.

The Grizzlies won five of their last six prior to the All-Star break to improve to 30-22 SU. Last time out they led the Clippers by double-digits for much of the game before recording a 110-102 win with five Memphis players in double-figures. The Grizzlies followed a three-game losing streak in late January by winning four straight games against Golden State, Washington, Milwaukee and Minnesota.

Tonight they have the added motivation of getting highly respected coach Hubie Brown his 400th NBA win. Memphis lost 104-98 on the road at Dallas just after Christmas and are a fantastic 19-8 ATS this season with revenge.

The Mavericks are 33-19 SU overall this season but have been over-rated by oddsmakers and the public on the way to a 21-31 (.404) ATS record. The major reason for their disappointing performance for bettors is a terrible 7-18 ATS road record. In their last three road games they have lost to Atlanta and Utah, and beaten New Orleans.

Dallas are just 5-8 ATS this season against the Midwest while Memphis are 9-5 ATS against division opponents.

The home team has won both meetings so far this season and tonight we expect Memphis to win and cover at home.
