Northwestern comes calling Saturday on the Fighting Illini...
Northwestern (NW) won last night against Indiana and are tied for 4th in the big ten race. The last time these two teams played was earlier this year at NW and Illinois lost by 10.
Illinois also won last night in Iowa City in a rout of the Hawkeyes, Illinois again played in the orange jerseys and are riding a 7 game win streak 1/2 game out of first in the big ten race.
Illinois has beat NW at home by an average of 23 points a game since the year 2000.
At home Illinois is extremley hard to beat, DEFENSE is on fire, holding the opponents to just 59 ppg while the offense cooks at 79 point clip.
NW is averaging a total output on the road at 59ppg...
In the last 5 games NW is 5-0 ATS while Illinois is 4-1.
Illinois defense is dominating and will shut down NW at all ends, the 3 point guard line up will be just to much for NW to handle.
This team is in a hunt for the title, they are starting to feel it, taste it and accept it. In my opinion right now regarding this team at home, they could beat just about anyone. No doubt Orange will be the color of the day 2-28 in champaign....
My numbers show Illinois line should open up at -21.0 and they will cover this line....
