Just read that Ladbrokes lost 1/2 million on the Oscars (predominantly because of a 50/1 bet they had on L.O.R. sweeping the categories), but Centrebet, Paddy Power and a couple of others lost in the 6 figures as well.
Any idea how the carribean books did? Based on line movement I'm sure they were crushed also. I guess that's what happens when the favorite wins everything. Hell when I checked out Olympic they had odds on every category and the film/actor they had 1st or 2nd choice won every category. Can't be a good sign. I just regret now I didn't bet the Rings at 2/1 when they first put up the odds in September.
