    PITTSBURGH U - RB LaRod Stephens-Howling (ankle) upgraded to probable.
    Pittsburgh Tribune reports -Tailback LaRod Stephens-Howling had an ankle injury
    and sat out of the second half, but he is expected to play Friday at Cincinnati.

    DUKE - RB Justin Boyle (leg) left last game, "?".
    RB Ronnie Drummer (leg) left last game, "?".


    WAKE FOREST - QB Ben Mauk (elbow) out indefinitely.
    Winston Salem Journal reports -Wake Forest quarterback Benjamin Mauk has been ruled
    out indefinitely and may not return this season. Mauk, a junior from Kenton, Ohio,
    suffered a broken right arm and dislocated right shoulder during Wake Forest's 20-10
    season opening win against Syracuse on Saturday.

    LOUISVILLE - RB Michael Bush (leg) injured last game, is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
    Courier -Journal reports -That they can play their way into the Top 10 and beyond without
    halfback Michael Bush, who ran as if he intended to wrap both hands on the Heisman Trophy
    until he suffered a season-ending injury. His right leg was broken on his second carry
    of the second half.

    Boston Herald reports - Coach Tom O'Brien announced in his weekly conference call
    yesterday that quarterback Matt Ryan is questionable for the game after injuring
    his ankle early in Thursday?s 31-24 victory over Central Michigan.

    WESTERN MICHIGAN - QB Ryan Cubit (finger) downgraded to expected to miss.
    Michigan Live reports -X-rays showed no broken bones but Cubit is expected to miss
    Saturday's home opener against Toledo while he recovers. He said he hopes to play
    at Virginia on Sept. 16. Junior Thomas Peregrin will start in Cubit's place versus
    the Rockets.

    CALIFORNIA - QB Steve Levy (disciplinary) downgraded to the # 3 QB.


    GAME #201-202

    NORTH TEXAS - QB Daniel Meager (concussion) missed last game, "?" Saturday vs SMU.
    The Chronicle reports HC Dickey said he would pick his starter for next week's game against
    SMU after watching film and seeing how his quarterbacks perform in practice this week. He
    did not rule out Meager's return.
