hey genius...betting 21% out of a secondary account is perfectly fine..its not your bread and butter..what don`t you get?? Its not your primary bank roll..get your nose out of the books and learn from someone who understands betting economics...the guy I learned from doesn`t run a sports service, but he does have a good number of clients. How difficult is it to manage money? You make it sound like you should have all your money in one account and play off of that, which I see as a mistake.

You are a misguided soul, dedicated to spewing BS. I don`t complain about making money in this industry, perhaps you do, since I haven`t seen any of your picks posted here. Sounds like you`re having a bad year..want some good, free advice? stop by and we`ll set you up with some winners for a change.

This just gets more and more bizarre.

Ok. I'll play along. I want to learn something here and you seem to be the one to teach me.

Please define for me your meaning of the word "Account", as used in your post above.

last post...because you`re not playing with a full deck it seems...not going to continue in a pissing match with you over nothing really...if you don`t agree with my betting methods, just say so and drop it...PRIMARY ACCOUNT = your main sportsbook account, your main bankroll. SECONDARY ACCOUNT = your second sportsbook account that collects the spillover from profits on the primary account. DISCRETIONARY ACCOUNT = a non sportsbook account which is used to take out money or reinvest. Why is that difficult to comprehend? Perhaps someday we`ll see a few of your selections so you can actually back up your mouth.

"457 Plan Lock of the Millenium"

so now what happens to me after I lost my entire 457 retirement account on the Akron Zips? I read on here that it was a "guaranteed winner".

got any other "locks" for me this week? I need to get even!!

Ah. Ok. Thank you for clearing that up. Seriously. I want to learn. Now that you explained what you meant by account, let me see if I get this.

You have a primary account at a sportsbook, where you make all of your 4-7% plays.

You have a secondary account at a sportsbook, where you put all of your profits from your primary account.

You only use the secondary account for your games of the year, or other big plays. Games you really zero in on.

You then take the profits from your secondary account and do what you want with them.

              Do I have that right?

My only other question is, what is the difference in the size of your primary account and the size of your secondary account. In otherwords, is your primary account twice the size of your secondary account? Three times the size of your secondary account?

Just trying to learn your system.

I dunno about multiple accounts.. I play online mostly just for parlays and teasers.... and I'm a college student so don't have a ton of money. I really just use that account to keep myself interested throughout the season. If I win it's nice, if I lose, it doesn't really hurt me.

I usually use 50 as a "unit" when i bet offline... I almost never bet more then a unit. If I win Monday and most of my picks Saturday, I may play a 2 unit game on Sunday. I never try to bet my way out of a hole. If I lose my first bet of the week I'm done for that week (like I said, broke college student). I started betting about midway through last season... the only times I've bet after losing my first bet is sometimes on the Patriots (home team). I'm 7-1 on my offline bets.. so I can't complain.

I think you're out of luck Rocky. That was his "last post". Guess you'll never know now.

This is usually what happens in these types of situations.

When the tough questions start being asked, we get the old "this is my last post" routine.

The main lesson learned here is that we shouldn't come on here touting Game of the Year. Go ahead and say you have a strong feeling about this one and why. Lose the hype.

People ARE influenced. Some may have gone for Akron. Some may have stayed away from UConn.

Always expect that some newbies who don't know better and can't afford to lose a big GOY, 3x or 5x their normal bet, might just think you really know what you're talking about. Just accept that much responsibility - even if you are really good and feel really strongly about a game.

There are no sure-fire, guaranteed winners. Ap. State beat Michigan and then lost to little Wofford College. Syracuse +37 beat Louisville. Last week a guy on another forum said Miami -24 vs. Duke was the EZ money game of the week. Wrong. But he was right the previous week on a big spread and hyped that up, so he probably gained a lot of folowers who doubled up on him with Miami.

Go ahead and manage your money however you like. That's your business, as are your picks. If you want to share your picks, just post them with some info and without a lot of hype - maybe just a one, two or three star play. Your record will eventually speak for itself.

CapperMaster at least didn't run away. He came back to face the music and try to explain himself and the methods to his "madness." And we all enjoyed the sparring between him and Rocky!
