      Dinger,
Would you elaborate on why you think Dallas will struggle.

If anything I'm struggling with the pick of Dallas winning the division, but my gut tells me Philadelphia and Washington could have strong seasons and Dallas could be the odd man out.

Dallas could struggle within the NFC East...tough schedule/division. Looking through all the NFC contenders they are still the favorite to get to the Super Bowl...however my gut tells me different....just couldn't go with my gut on this one.

Marion Barber runs wild..great first round Fantasy pick.

You know part of me truly agrees with what your saying. I'm starting to look at the Cowboys like they are the Yankees of the NFL, they keep acquiring all these big names and nothing to show at the end of the season. I will say that I do believe Felix Jones will impress everyone. There special teams right now is a bit shaky. In my opinion they go 10-6. Outside of there division I don't feel they have a hard schedule. I feel this year that the loss of Gibbs as head coach of the redskins automatically puts Washington on the bottom. Then we have the other three. Truthfully between the Giants and Eagles you never no which one will come to play.I'm still convinced that Eli is mentally challenged and Mcnabb is injury prone. In all honesty the Cowboys are the only stable team in the division but they cant win in the playoffs. I think logically any pick in this division can be back by a legitimate argument. Therefore I wouldn't recommend betting on this division because there are to many questions to be answered. By the end of week four I think that I will definitely have a better feel for how the division will turn out. Just my 2 cents

I think that anyone that knows anything about sports agrees that anything less than a Super Bowl appearance by the Cowboys this year -- would be considered failure.........Won't go on record at this time to say that they're good enough to win it, but after last year's meltdown, the pressure's definitely on..........Good Luck Jpehl.............but again it looks like the same old story.......brilliant offense, but holes in the defense...........Ya think they can win every game 42-35?..........Better hope so...........JMO.

I dont know if I agree about the holes in the D this year. The only whole Im familiar with is Roy Williams. I dont know if this has made national news or not but supposedly many within the cowboys organization have gone on record to say he is the weak link in the D. With the organization the fans and the news media have literally beaten him up. I feel bad for the guy right now actually but in response Williams said he has taken this personal and will use this year to prove them wrong.
Maybe its all talk, who knows. Anyone else want to update us on there team. Not to hijack your thread Dinger.

I think the steelers finally lose their grip on first place in the division, they keep letting great players leave and think they can replace them with unproven payers, alan faneca will be sorely missed. I think Big Ben gets to do a lot of running this season. They have the toughest schedule too. I am playing the under 9 total wins. I see them being just .500 at best. I think this will be a painful season to watch my team struggle. Hope I am wrong.

good luck guys and gals this season.
                good luck

Dallas will struggle because they lack a head coach....

Carolina will win make the playoffs and then reach the NFC Championship. They just might represent the NFC in the SB.

Houston could slip into the playoffs via a wildcard as well ...

You know for the past three years I have heard ESPN tout Carolina as the team to beat. This is probably the first year I haven't heard their name. So your probably right then. Just wanted to mention that I was impressed with the Giants in the first quarter, dont know if the Browns just dont care or the Giants are still hungry. Have to add with the loss of Shockey, Strahan, and Barber it appears Eli might feel comfortable.

I'd agree with the shot on the Panthers. I read a stat that sums up last year for them.

Delhomme led the team in TD passes and he only played in 3 games........he's healthy now.

Teams worth taking a shot with at decent odds to win the Super Bowl.

Giants 25-1 - talk about no respect. When is the last time the champs had odds this high?

Packers 30-1 - Yep...the two teams that played in the NFC Championship game are at 25-1 and 30-1. No favre, but still, cmon.

Jags 14-1 Classic team on the rise scenario. Can only see them improving off of last years success.

                          Seahawks - 30-1 Holmgren, Hasslebeck

Cardinals - 50-1 another classic team on the rise scenario. They figure to be a playoff team. When you take 50-1 odds and you get your team to the playoffs, it opend up some nice potential hedging opportunities.

Jets 70-1 Favre......can you imagine. Hey this was a playoff team two years ago.

                          Titans 45-1 hmmmm

Backing one of the favorites to win the super bowl makes no sense. Ie the Cowboys, Chargers or Pats. No value.

Perhaps the bet value on the entire board is with the Giants. They drafted well. They have Manning playing with all kinds of confidence and the team may be better this year than they were a year ago.

                          25-1 on the champs.......I'll bite.

I think the Eagles and Saints will make a solid run fot the NFC championship..
I like your Jaguars to do well..

It would be nice if someone could post Season over/under wins/loss and superbowl odds. Could be a cool discussion.

I'll be in Las Vegas this weekend and will see what I can pick-up from the different casinos.
