Rookies

I wanted to know if any one had any updates on the new rookies in the league. Im really interested in Mcfadden, Rashard Mendenhall and any one else you think will make an impact this year.

Well there's Matt Forte in Chicago who may be the starter at RB, Jonathan Stewart in Carolina could get half the carries, if not become the primary RB, Kevin Smith should be the starting RB in Detroit, McFadden could be good too, and Mendenhall may get lots of scoring attempts in Pittsburgh. Selvin Young could be the starter in Denver. Then if certain veteran starters get dinged, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice in Dallas, Jacob Hester in S.D., Pierre Thomas in N.O., Chris Johnson in Tennessee, Ray Rice in Baltimore should all get lots of playing time. As for receivers, James Hardy in Buffalo may start opposite of Lee Evans, Eddie Royal in Denver, DeSean Jackson in Philly.
Joe Flacco looks like he may start at QB for the Ravens, and of course the Falcons are going with Matt Ryan.

I can tell you that Medenhall now of the vikes
from Illinois fumbled twice last game and fumbles
are a bad thing for a RB early on.

J Leman former Illinois LB is playing a step slow
in makeing his team, might make the practice squad

Im pretty sure you kept up with Mendenhall at Illinoise. Did he have this problem there?

Are you talking Fantasy Football? Maybe a rookie league? Grab Mendenhall if so. He could be the starter as soon as next year. Screw the fumbles. That one in particular against the Vikings was just a good defensive strip. I didn't see the other.

Yeah was referring to fantasy, I drafted him as a third running back and then saw his last game and was wondering if he would continue to have this problem. I read a review that said the coaches have continuously addressed the way he swings the ball around when he runs.
Boone, If your out there give me your input on Mcfadden.

Mendenhall was superior on taking care of the
ball last year for Illinois, I cant even remember
a fumble.

I toss this up to first game jitters and learning
what the pros do to strip you of the ball, He
has never seen that type of speed and knowledge.

Give this kid time he is Good, can run off the
slant of tackle as good as any one...

jpehl, unless you are in a league of 14+ teams you are in trouble if mendenhall is your #3 RB.

Mendenhall is getting the full rookie treatment
forced to carry the ball around the complex all
day long

If a player strips the ball from him he owes
100 bucks, if they are able to deliever the ball
to one of the other Running Backs it's 500

A light harted way to keep the rock sacred

This kid will be good dont listen to the negative
on him he just needs to learn

Check out my RB's this year. I only start 2 but I just couldn't pass them up. 10 team league redraft, no PPR.
