  • College Football-Quitters and Bowlers

Its that time of year to tap into the motivation of the college kids.

College kids are 18-22 yr olds and they sometimes want to act their age.

I am going to be researching the teams that:

#1 Are on bad teams that have no chance at a bowl game.

#2 Teams that are on the brink of making a bowl (especially teams that have not been there for a while).

#1 teams are good 'go against'. #2 teams are good 'play on' teams.

One question--What is bowl eligibility again? 7 wins or 6 wins? I cannot remember. I think it 6 but I am not for sure on it.

I will get back to you on it when I have a chance to look over the record of various teams but its a good time to look for these type of angles.

Weall know who the elite teams are, but there is opportunity in the others also.

Please chime in and nominate your teams that come to mind with the above criteria!

    6 the magic number.

Vandy is team to watch. They haven't had a winning record, and haven't been to a bowl in 25 years....currently at 5 wins........

    they have -

    Florida
    Kentucky
    Tenn
    Wake Forest

They will be going to a Bowl game this year.........for sure.....

I think Illinois will go bowling, remember
this Illinois team has gone a long time
in putting together back to back winning seasons

So I think they qualify and you are correct
6 is the magic number to qualify for a very
      early december midnight bowl game
