NFL Playoff scenarios

Ok...so this is how I read the playoff picture. I have left off any possibilities that include ties because ties NEVER happen in the NFL right Donavan?

Ok -

Miami - Win or Pats loss

Denver win and in

Ravens - win or Pats loss

Pats - Win and Miami loss or Balt loss

Jets - Win and Pats loss

Chargers - Win and in

-----------

Panthers - need win for a bye

Falcons can get a bye and div title with a win and panther loss

Tampa - Win and Dallas loss

Dallas - Win and in

Bears - Win and Min loss

Eagles - Win and Bucs loss and either min loss or bears loss (in other words, the eagles are stayong home)


Remember, some of the late games will be taken off the board once the early games start.........should be an interesting week.

In addition to your scenarios, I think:

Miami is out if they lose.

Jets can still get a wild card with a win and a Pats win and a Baltimore loss.

Chicago can still get a wild card with a win, a Minny win and Tampa and Dallas losses.

Very nice break-out. Newspaper always puts ties in there and dilutes/confuses the picture.
