My inside source at Illinois tells me that Illinois
Receiever Arrelious Benn has a broken ankle and
could be out for the season.

If this is true it could be a devastating blow
to Illinois this year.

Benn was injured on the first series of play
of the game left and never returned.

Why Coach Zook would use a 5 star reciever to
field kick offs to face the suicide squad has never made
sense to me.

Let's hope and pray this rumor is wrong regarding Benn
I watched him walk off the field and he wasnt walking
like a person with a broken ankle but you just never
know

Well the rumor of Benn being out for the season
is FLASE. He had suffered a sprained ankle on the first
play of the game. This is not a high ankle sprain
and he is probable for next weeks game vs
Illinois State.
