#13 Ohio State vs Illinois Mens Ncaa Basketball Sunday

Ohio State 13th ranked comes calling on Illinois.

Both teams are tied for 2nd in the Big 10 at 9-3

Illinois is playing some really good ball as of late
and are a really tough team at home.

The Buckeyes are in my eyes the best team in the
Big 10. Led by 6-7 Evan Turner guard who is the
straw that stirs the drink for the buckeyes.

Turner is only hitting at 25% from 3 point land but his
ability to handle the ball, drive and create contact or
a open dish makes him 5 star dangerous.

The 5 players who will start for OSU are the most talented
physical 5 players in the Big 10 at this point playing
at once for the same team.

They are not a deep team off the bench and any foul trouble on the bigs of OSU is gonna spell a world of trouble
    if that happens.

The Buckeyes love playing a 2-3 Zone but in the last'
few games they are playing almost exclusive Man to
Man smothering defense. They will pressure Illinois
    all the way up court.

This team is also loaded with talent and have been
starting to really play at a high level especially on

Demetri McCamey 6-3 Stud Guard is the play leader
for this team. He can create from almost any way
and his NBA 3 point bombs are fun to watch.

Inside 7-1 Tisdale Center, OSU has no answer for
this player, look for alot of pick and rolls with
    Tisdale off the ball.

On defense Illinois will have to play Defense by committee
on Evan Turner. I think Illinois will put bill cole on him
at 6-8 Cole has got some good speed and big wing

Both teams will be focused on trying to stop each others
super guard from scoring. In both cases this is going to cause some over play and easy inside buckets for both teams.

Ohio State vs Big teams on the road are 1-3 on the road

The game is at Noon.....And I expect Illini and the fans
to be sleep walking the first ten minutes.

McCamey and Turner played with each other as team mates in High School here in Illinois and were both
studs then and are now growing together towards
    the NBA.

Illinois has been playing some really gut check
basketball, it is clear they have the talent to play
with any team out there. The Defense a Bruce Weber
Staple is really starting to come together.
(Last game vs Wisky Illini held them scoreless
    for 8 mins)

I am laying with Illinois to win this game at
home in a defensive slug fest

    Illinois 59- Ohio State 47

I also like Illinois. LVSC line started at Ill-2. I just took Ill+1.5 at Cal Neva in Reno.
