  • Why the Titans may be a play tonight?

    Why not?

Vegas does not give away free money and this one looks too good to be true.

Indy off 2 lossses, Tenny cannot score and have lost their motivation.

Peyton does not lose 3 in arow and the Colts "need"this game.

When it looks too easy, it usually is.

Line is at -3 and has barely moved with over 85% of the bets on Indy.

I am going to pass until I see what happens at half-time, but I think Tenny is worth a look on the possible WTF line of the year so far in the NFL!

Tenn hasn't scored a TD in 13 quarters.

So why is the line only -3/4 for the Colts? Spooky...

The Colts are not a very good team right now by their standards. I've never seen Manning struggle so much. Part of it is the lack of a running game and missing Addai, and part of it is missing Clark and Collie in the passing game. However, since starting 5-2 they've had a pretty tough schedule having to play at Philly and New England, and then a San Diego team that seems to have their number and a rejuvenated Dallas team. So they've lost 4 of the last 5, but 3 of the losses have been by 2 or 3 pts. In those 3 close losses though, they've had to make 4th Q comebacks to make the score look respectable. I've got the NFL Sunday Ticket so I get to watch a lot of football and the Colts are just playing very average lately. And really, only 2 of their 6 wins have been dominant performances meaning even when they win they aren't blowing anybody away. So I can see why it's not a bigger line. I played a 7 pt teaser last night taking Ten +10.5 and OV 38. I just looked and the line is currently at -4 and 44.5 at my book so I obviously should have waited. But at +4 I may put a small straight bet on the Titans with the Colts being just 2-4 SU on the road this year.
Also Ten is only 2 games back of 1st so they should have some motivation still.

          I found a prop I like a lot...

Pierre Garcon OVER 5 catches...he's had at least 5 in the last 4games and 8 catches last week.

That little dude, Finnegan, will be all over Wayne and Garcon may have some open looks.

Listen to the Jeff Fisher show every week. Last night was the first time in I can remember so many disgruntled fans calling in... I look for a better effort from the Titans tonight.. I also think he said that Kenny Brit will come back tonight.. That would be a big thing for Tennessee.. Fisher sounded really upbeat about their chances.

I lean toward the Titans, but you guys know my record on the pros.. I just like the way Fisher sounded last night. We were going to go but my wife said it was too cold. It must be because she loves Peyton....

I was in Nashville the week before and heard the excuse of the 3rd stringer playing on why they sucked @ Houston. I fell for the Jax bounce back, but there were more distractions with the coach's chemo and so on.

I really think that this will be a huge game for CJ. Play keep away with CJ by running the ball 35-40 times.

Hmmm....I played the under, now that the line is at 5, why not take the points. You know what happens when the public is pounding. Granted they win once in a while (NE on MNF), but it is not a good win % rate.

f'ing garbage touchdown. Killed the line (i had played that -3) for no gain on their behalf. I'm pissed at tennessee.

Well, that was a nice night! Tennessee persevered despite 2 TO's resulting in 14 pts and 2 penalties resulting in 1st and goals for the Colts. Imagine the outcome without those f'ups. I thought there were a couple bad penalties called on Tennessee and then a no-call with the Indy defender virtually tackling Britt before the ball got there on what would have been a 3rd down conversion at mid-field.

Yeah, that was nuts. I ended up going agianst my wisdom and taking Indy on the ML instead with another play for the weekend in a parlay.

that was garbage at the end...Sportsbooks everywhere were celebrating that one!! Saved them some cash!!

I agree that was a blatant foul on Britt but I don't think it would have done much. Peyton played prevent second half and looked like he could turn it on any time needed. They kept marching downfield killing the clock and getting something for it.
