I hear you. This is the 2nd time for me in the big show. last time was 2004, lots of fun and some stress....thanks. Our Mock Hilton is great, really like the competition here.

No not really. I've already turned my picks in so the guys I would look at haven't posted yet.

Right. I was thinking of using it to help make regular plays. How soon after the deadline do they publish the selections? That would be interesting to see, given that some of the sharpest minds are playing this. But you'd have to know their names or nicknames and their history.

"It actually seems to be better over the years to wait for the Hilton contest report and either fade the "top 5" and/or bet on the "bottom 5". The "standard" Hilton fade bet is the "contra" which is to bet a botton 5 pick that is straight up vs a top 5 pick (there was one pick like that week one, the Chiefs, which lost). Fading the top 5 week one went 3-2. Betting on the bottom 5 went 3-1-1."

By "top 5," they mean the 5 most popular picks among all the Hilton players. And "bottom 5" means the least popular picks among all Hilton entries.

Hmmm? I wonder how we did as a group? I might add it up.
