Saturday HOOPS and Discussion Thread, Post your plays here.
Damn woodee. TCU scored the last 8 points of that game to backdoor our SD St. cover! SD St. missed two free throws and turned the ball over twice in the last minute and a half to lose that cover. They were up 18 with less than two minutes to go and let TCU score the last 8 points.
I also got beat by a last second meaningless 3 against my George Mason pick. Unreal.
The B2B2B went well last night as Portland and NY covered, while Indiana was the only game that lost. I also had OKC and SA over 195 which was an easy cover. Also made a last minute decision to go with the Stars over Minnesota, as Minnesota never wins in Dallas. Tough game, required a shoot out, but Dallas won. Had a good night and went 4-1.
I can do that garister, however I doubt anyone really wants to see my picks.
Yesterday most of them were from the B2B2B thread, including one goof. The other was a last minute pick on the Stars. I debated it all day before finally pulling the trigger on that one just minutes before game time.
I will post the NBA totals that meet your totals theory starting tomorrow if you want. I know you have given up on that a little, but last night there was a game that met that criteria, but I did not play it. Atlanta and Philadelphia total went over the 178.5 total I saw posted in the morning. It looked like a good situation, but both teams have had scoring lapses lately and I think that is why the line was as low as it was. Turned out that both teams scored well and went over the total easily.

I just takes me a lot of time to do it and it didnt seem profitable lately, if it still works, great and If you want to post that would help.
It does take a few minutes to figure the totals for each team, but I do it at work (don't tell the boss), so not a real problem.
I staying off the Super Bowl game this year. I can make a good case for each team winning, but if I had to play one side or the other, I would lean to the Giants, just because I am getting the 3 points. In fact, I would probably buy it up to 3.5 to avoid a push, since 3 is such a key number in football.
One prop I did see and liked, but won't play was for NY to score first. I liked it since NE kicks off a lot. If NY has the ball first, third, fifth, etc, then that gives them a little better chance of scoring first. But I am abstaining from the big game this year.
