Never too early to select outs for FB season, FB is king! Following is a list of outs I used for FB last year, a quick comment on each, and a reccommendation based on whether I'll use them again this year.
Please chime in with your own similar post.
B-WORLD books:
1. Canbet
Upside: 15% open/re-load bonus with advertised LVSC lines. Top-notch customer service. Based in Australia. Internet and phone betting on same acct.
Downside: Lines only out Tuesdays.
Verdict: I'll be back, absolutely.
2. Bowmans
Upside: Good customer service once you get through; open 24 hours. Lines pretty swingy on Monday night.
Downside: Phone switchboard apparently being repeatedly hit with NATO graphite bombs. No internet wagering.
Verdict: I'll likely be back.
3. Victor Chandler
Upside: Customer service second to none. Big limits. Cross-sport parlays. Never a busy signal. Solid as the rock of Gibraltar.
Downside: Lines out Tuesdays. Moneylines sometimes only out gamedays. Never a weird line. No internet wagering yet.
Verdict: VC gets 75% of my soccer handle (Asian Lines rule), and soccer is 80% of what I play. I'm there almost by default, but I don't mind.
Non B-WORLD books:
4. ABC Islands
Upside: Old-time teaser odds and more (2 team: 6pt even, 7pt -115). Lines out Monday. Big action yields different lines.
Downside: Online wagering is done through sister outfit "Casino Tropicale" (low limits).
Verdict: These guys got almost all my teaser plays last year. Ditto this year.
5. William Hill
Upside: If a game is on 2', 3, or 3' they will hold the number a long way by moving money before moving the spread (College game last year saw a line -3, -155). Makes for interesting lines. Bi-weekly statement mailed to customers. Very solid trade name.
Downside: No internet wagering for North Americans last year. Lines out as late as Wednesday. Moneylines as late as Friday. Top-25 in NCAAF only.
Verdict: I was with these guys last year for soccer too until I started winning. Rather than boot me they reneged on a commitment to let me make bets on single games. Not going back.
