How and where can I sell my 1960s Baseball and Football cards?

I've sold a couple on eBay but would like to sell my entire collection at once. Valued at $5,500.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Are the cards in mint condition?
I have a guy that will buy if they have to be in mint.

Some may be considered Mint and the majority Very Good to Excellent.

I suppose I will have to sell to a person I can meet and one who can inspect the cards himself.

Or I might just sell the top cards one at a time and scan the images for someone to see online.

Depending upon where you live, you can take them to a sports card show.

Dealers do buy and could give you a fair value based upon market.

I would really not rely on Beckett or other card price guides, the true values (overvalued) do not reflect the current market value.

              Widestrides.

I also have a collection of baseball cards, most from the 1960-1969 era. I have found that finding a buyer in a local market will always give you a higher price. For instance I have a 1967 Roberto Clemente card, this card would fetch more in the Pittsburgh market than any where else.

My advice to you is seek out the local market where this card may be from and approach these buyers. It is Simple if you want to sell a card from the twins head to Minnesota, etc you will catch top dollar in a flat card market. Seek the market where the card came from.

Also it would be very helpful to me if you could also list the card number for each card you have listed. I assume most cards are from Topps? Card number is key.

I might be interested in a couple of your cards, while on the surface your price values seem way out of whack especially the Yankees team card at 16.00.

Place a number next to each card you have listed let me drill down on this for you.

              Thanks

                Carpet,

Thanks, that's a great idea to go local!

The last two cards I sold were Camillo Pascual and Zoilo Versallies to some Twins fanatics!

And I'll get you those card numbers.

Those prices are from sportsbuy.com for cards in very good to excellent condition. Maybe there is an extra couple bucks for Yankee cards built in!

He played for the Boston Patroits a AFL all star Line Backer, what makes his card more valuable is the Tall Boy Design which makes this card tougher to find than most in nice condition

Rickey Henderson is one of best players to ever play the game. His 1980 Topps rookie card #482 is one of the most popular rookie cards a collector can have. Below are some tips that will help you spot a fake version of this card.

Take a look at the words “Rickey Henderson” at the top of the card on the front. A fake version of this card will have a name that is made of many small dots instead of solid black ink on an original.
On a fake Henderson rookie, a green and white dot pattern will make up the background of the “A’s” logo. On a real version, the green background is a solid color.
A counterfeit Henderson rookie will have a broken circle around the © logo on the back.

A 1980 #482 Rickey Henderson card sells for about 50 dollars in mint condition, graded cards will sell for a bit more
