Thoughts/Comments on Games that Could be Impacted by Remnants of Hurricane Isaac

Well, it should be interesting how the lines and spreads may be impacted by the remnants of Hurricane Isaac and where the remnants may land during Saturday.

Here are a few games of note on Saturday:
* Southeast Louisiana @ Missouri
* South Dakota State @ Kansas
* Tulsa @ Iowa State
* Western Michigan @ Illinois (Champaign is forecasted to potentially receive up to 6 inches of rain from Saturday/Sunday)
* Eastern Kentucky @ Purdue (rain totals should be in the same range as Champaign)
* Iowa vs. North Illinois @ Soldier Field (forecasts range from spotty showers up to 2 inches from Saturday/Sunday)
* Indiana State @ Indiana

If they play the Rutgers/Tulane game......that's in the Superdome, so no impact on field conditions but already an impact on both teams in terms of prep.....

Tulane athletics spokesman Roger Dunaway said in an email to USA TODAY Sports that the football team was leaving Monday afternoon after practicing in the morning. He said the team will practice at Legion Field in Birmingham on Tuesday and Wednesday and try to return to campus as soon as possible, either Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

Rutgers coach Kyle Flood was asked about his team's situation Monday.

"As of right now, as of this minute, we don't have any plans to change our itinerary," the first-year head coach said during a news conference. "We have heard nothing of postponing or changing the game or anything like that. But … it's going to be an hour-to-hour process."

The team is still scheduled to fly to New Orleans on Friday.
