The 2012/13 CFB Contest started with the Bowl games on Dec 15th and ends with the BCS Championship Game on Jan 7th.
Here are the rules:
1) Pick SIDES ONLY (ATS)! No totals.
2) Dec 15th thru Jan 7th Bowl game wins will be scored as follows:
- BCS Championship Game win - 3 pts
- BCS Bowls: Sugar, Rose, Fiesta, and Orange wins - 2 pts
- All other lesser Bowl wins from Dec 15th thru Jan 6th - 1pt
3) All ties will be worth 1/2 point regardless of when the game is played!
4) The capper with the highest number points is the declared WINNER.
5) The tiebreaker, if necessary, will be the combined total score of the BCS Championship Game. Instructions will be provided to the tied leaders to submit their picks via email to an identified email address. These final picks will be posted 1 – 2 hours before the BCS Championship kickoff.
6) Bowl games and LV Hilton lines will be posted 1-2 days prior to their scheduled start date.
7) All picks must be POSTED at least no later than ONE HOUR prior to the scheduled start of the FIRST GAME that will be played on that day.
AND
When scheduled Bowl games are grouped/clustered together, e.g., Dec. 20, 21, & 22 (4 games) Dec. 24 & 26 (2 games), Dec. 27 & 28 (6 games), Jan. 2 & 3 (2 games) and Jan. 4, 5, & 6 (3 games) all of the picks must be posted no later than at least ONE HOUR prior to the scheduled start of the FIRST GAME in the posted thread. PLEASE READ THIS RULE CAREFULLY! This is for ease of scorekeeping.
8) Editing selections will not be allowed. Once your selection(s) is posted, it is official.
