I am going with the BlackHawks tonight. -160.

I have them in a parlay from last night with Blues but I would lay the chalk with them anyway tonight too.

The pens/Islanders number is at 6 again. They play fast without much D but can they get over the 6? I say its a 4-2 game but if its gets to 5.5 I may go over.

Like the Islanders with Montreal +1.5 on both in a parlay too.

Also going to play UNDER 5 in the San Jose/Vancouver game. If Vancouver win this one it will be low scoring. They are down 0-3 so they need to turn it up a notch defensively.

No way to win. 2-1 thru the whole game in San Jose. All the sudden it's 3-3. All the capping or trends in the world don't help you there. Least the hawks won!

Tonight the Blues are in a must-win situation at home, they do not want to lose this game and go down 3-2and travel to LA where they never have won this year.

I am laying with the Blues tonight +1.5

You mean -1.5 with the Blues?

I am laying the -130 with them.

Also liek Anahiem to bounce back at home vs. Detroit.

I wonder if we should just go m/l or over/under as the
best opportunities. I know Carpet covered with STL the
other night, but the more of these games I see I feel
the difference is 1 goal and the hook is a killer.
Even in the games that go over we are still looking at
1 goal wins. Looking ahead to the next round I can't see
any team (maybe Chicago) who will push beyond a 1 goal
                    lead or win.

Well tonight was a good time to ignore my new rule
of not playing the +/- 1.5 line. ha, ha.
I'm thinking the Blues still have a shot. and....
Detroit is a tough beast to kill.

                          5/11
                          Isles/Pens under 6
NY has not scored on Vokoun this season. Not
sure who will start for the Islanders in goal, if
it's their backup look for them to make a strong
                          defensive effort.

woodee, good story in the WSJ this week on the Cards.
                            search "Pujols".

Not sure who to root for now that Hitch and the Blues are out.

I've been so bad with the NHL picks that I'm now qualified
                              to open a 1-800 service.

Anybody have any thoughts on the totals for tonight's games? I usually like to bet the under in game 7's, but I am wondering if the back to back and travel will have any effect. I don't have a lot of hockey knowledge before this year. They usually have some type of rest, don't they? I saw one game 7 in the last 3 years that was a back to back and it went over.
