What are your thoughts on this new young pitcher named Michael Wacha?

STL is all a buzz with him making his first big league start tonight. He was a 19th pick (1st round) and comes from Texas A&M. This kid went from the rookie league to AA ball in just 5 weeks in the pacific league.

He is 4-0 at Memphis Pacific coast league farm team for Stl with a 2.05 era in 9 starts.

Kid looks like a stud to me. It will be interesting to see how he adjusts to big league hitters.

He makes his first start tonight for the cards.

Sorry I missed this. Good start but the bullpen screwed it up.

He starts again this week. I hope they aren't rushing him but they need him too.

Arizona has a tough line up that hits the cards well.
