That type of team offers up much more value as a dog than a favorite. Minnesota has back-to-back games with Chicago this weekend. Today's game might be a vulnerable spot for them.

Carolina has 2 wins in a row and points in 5 of last 6 games. On the road, Carolina is 3-1 (loss at Pittsburgh).

As tough as it is for the Minnesota Wild to score, as stated by Taxman above, the Nashville Predators are even worse. They average a Western Conference low, 1.90 goals a game. Also, with Pekka Rinne out for four weeks to have hip surgery, the Preds lose their rock between the pipes. Jets over Preds, 3-1.
