  • Thank you!

Thank you Bettorsworld family for the years of allowing me to track the pro football contest.

Due to a business venture that involves legalized gambling and licensing, I will be unable to run this contest going forward.

I will gladly help in the transition to another volunteer.

    Regards,
    Taxman

Because you will be too busy, or due to concern about legal issues? If the latter, then you will not even be able to post or participate in contests?

Take care. Thanks for your great work!

          I have a side business.

My business partner and I developed a new table game. Friday we cleared as our game's statistical analysis was verified. Right now the game is very successful and popular in a casino in Iowa. It is more popular than roulette and pai gow. Basically, it has a cult following.

I have meetings later this month with very high level executives on the Strip and in downtown Vegas. They have seen the game at an convention and they were very interested but would not discuss it until we had the statistical analysis verified.

The next step is to get on of those executives to commit to a 'field trial'. If the game is successful, we will be recommended to get licensed in Nevada in which we will then be able to lease our game to casinos in Nevada.

My concern is the licensing and background checks. I'd rather play it very conservative and distance myself from online gaming.

If you have played Three Card Poker, that individual who invented the game, played our game and was very impressed with the concept and uniqueness.

Long story short.........only 1% of new casino games ever make into a casino. Then only 1% of those games last more than 90 days in the casino. Our game has been around for 120 days and continues to become more popular by the month.

I'll still be around and lurking. Also, the travel will start to increase and I will not able to give my full attention to the ongoing contest.

Taxman...If your game makes it that would be very cool. I have a few games I developed (not just table games) and maybe someday we could set-up a meeting. I see the odds of a table game is a huge long-shot. My other venture I'm pursuing this year (not a Vegas game) I'm hoping to have completed by the end of the year and maybe you can look at it. I'm 7 classes away from my Bachelors Degree (Small Business/Entrepreneurship). I'm ready to get my feet way in the free market. If you are ever in Tucson and/or Las Vegas and have time for a working lunch meeting let me know. Thanks for all your efforts!!

                  TAXMAN.

Thank you for everything you have done here at Bettors World. You are true professional.

I wish you all the best with this new card game. I heard it could take up to a year for Nevada to review backgrounds and licenses before they even grant a "field trial" I am not sure if this is true.

Do the casino's keep all profits during the trial period? It would really be cool for you to pull this off-I Know you have been working hard at this for a few years.

Good Luck Tax Man-I wish you God Speed.

Dinger, sounds like a plan. I always look forward to meeting or speaking with fellow BW family members.

                      Let's keep in touch.

Carpet, yes the casino keeps the profit from the 'field trial'. That's why it is so tough, because if the statistical analysis is not exact, the casino has the potential to loss lots of cash.

The casino that does take my game for a field trial will get to keep that table lease free for as long as it is on the floor. That's the same deal I have with the Iowa casino. They have done very well by taking a chance on the game.

Good Luck T man, and thanks. I used to love playing New Table Games in Vegas. The Lady Luck always seemed to be out front on this. There were a couple that were quite addicting, at least to me.
