Thanks for this. I was having some real challenges location newsletters this week, relating to NFLWK17 that is what with all the bowl clutter I basically gave up on the only week I really wanted them lol. Since their primary worth is as fade fodder. By my count both Phil Steele (IPB) and Marc Lawrence (Playbook) went 6-10 LW.

How is it that these guys services that exist to do one thing, pick NFL Winners, even manage to accomplish this? Lose 10 games out of 16. Next year I'm gonna set up a separate account where I just fade Newsletters.

You may know better than I what the very best fades would be...Nelly's Green Sheet NFL? Pointwise? Winning Points? One of those...Pointwise or Winning Points always has really crazy contrarion picks which I like but I think they generally fail as well.

No problem. The best fades are Game Of The Year's, or things designated as very strong plays, etc. I can't say I fade newsletters, but if you go to sites that post service plays, fading strong plays and strong consensus in those usually works out pretty well.
