Very nice write-ups Black Cat, nailed that 1 point victory by Indy basically exactly. Seattle@Philly matchup that just began is HUGE for this contest. Those of us lagging on PHI, leaders on SEA 2 game swing here if we can get this win with Philly and one of us prevails by a single game (or even a half point) this can be pointed to as the game or if we finish losing by just one or .5 then this was definitely that game. Humungous game here but an absolutely horrific choice on our part of the game to be "that game".

I notice now KC@AZ is also "that game" for folks other than me Thank God. I get to let them fight that one out, another horrific choice of game that we see a vital 2 point swing one way or the other.....pretty much split head to head amongst many near the top, I type all this because its incredible how we are seeing 2 games that could very well come down to a single play in either or both that are gonna have an excellent chance of dictating the way this season-long contest pans out. those I can see with stake in BOTH are oakas, hhosilver, neverlose, guy#2, bama25 and winandwin. These contestants definitely are 2 things: 1). entrants that need strong hearts to endure the drama of these picks as they relate to this contest and 2). totally getting "their money's worth" out of this contest lol.

On another note the New York Jets are personally trying to make me lose this contest. Its pretty much every week now with these bums.

not as much as it might seem lol, BlackCat's new addition TOP 10 numbers thing alerts to potential trainwreck clashes at the top so when I saw I might be involved in one "12 Eagles -1 Seahawks 27 Seahawks by 15" I thought 'uh. oh." cuz I knew I had Philly so I investigated and saw what I posted above, potential make or break game. "30 Colts -3.5 Browns 15 Colts by 15...15 Cardinals PK Chiefs 25 Chiefs by 10" same deal. You better plan on impaling yourself in 4th place Impaler cuz they're right behind you. Not me so much cuz I'm a newb + square + generally lame but they are gonna get you Impaler. You're gonna Bubble Impaler, land on the Bubble. I forget how many places pay, above is assuming its 1st 2nd and 3rd. If thats accurate you Bubble, finish fourth. If 5 places pay you're good.

I'll take a 5-0

Well I recorded the very first PUSH of the contest. Technically I tied with 13 other entrants in doing that...getting the very first Push. We all accomplished it simultaneously. And it took a 67 yd. miracle in OT from The Vikings to do it, 3rd and 5 short dump off pass when they ere very unlikely versus competent Jets D to get anywhere near FG range. Second-longest OT passing touchdown in NFL history.

So I got a 3-1-1.

Cuz of that Dumas Philadelphia pick.

Yes, congrats impressive week for this w/ the card so heavy with Road Faves I was hesitant to back/Home Dogs that I couldn't find confidence in. I searched for a viable Home Fave, I just needed ONE, to keep me offa that SEA/PHI matchup. To my credit I did manage to avoid mistakes this week with the (Home Faves) Debacle that is the NO Saints & the backdoor cover Orton & The Bills put on Denver, I'm sure there was a lot of yelling and tossing of worthless tickets at the LVH Sportsbook when that happened. I even managed somehow to not get pulled onto the totally stale line of KC at a PK when they closed around -3 only to have it all blow up in my face with a critical error in regards to this contest, that stupid pick on Philly.

Despite the cover by Detroit I'm glad I stuck by my guns and stayed off of them as dd fave as Tampa bay nearly backdoored that one as well. I didn't haven't enough confidence in Detroit's (too often) sluggish offense...to be laying 10. I'm trying (and pretty much succeeding) to be disciplined and not lay double digits, I feel like thats progress. I didn't wanna watch Detroit attempt to kick field goals all morning with me on 'em giving 10 but I have plenty of confidence in their Defense so I almost was saved from Philly there, maybe would have been at -9.5 but somehow that looks every bit as scary as 10. Must be the hook. I'm gonna run out of time in this contest it seems cuz I sense those above me have given out all the gift 1-4s and 2-3s they're gonna (man if only I'd siezed the chances given me) & with all the errors I've made along this journey I don't deserve to win it anyway but hopefully some knowledge has been gained that can be applied to next season's run.
