In my city if a player is ripped off by a agent or bookmaker all thats needed is a phone call by the right person to the main "office". If you prove that you've been stiffed "the office" makes sure you will get paid. They will not tolerate customers getting screwed by renegade bookmakers or dishonest agents. They do this for several reasons---the most important being the reputation of their business. Any one in my area who can prove he's been stiffed gets his money. Sometimes the thief gets beaten within an inch of his life and sometimes he just disappears. But you get paid either way..

Don't you other books out there realize scum sucking pigs like Myers fvcks up your abilities to add any solid credibility to your own businesses and YOUR INDUSTRY.". YOU GUYS should deal with this peice of sh*t like the "office" would in my area. In the long run your endeavors to run legit businesses with honorable dealings will be rewarded ten-fold. Plus----you'll solidify and clean up an industry with serious questionmarks and doubts. Consumer confidence is the most important issue of your business for long-term success. You guys should deal with this "blackeye" to your industry

First of all I'm not taking sides on this issue but I'd like to put in my two cents worth.
I've had an account with Action for about a year and half and have always been paid. And I just received a payout of 5 dimes. But I've been very bothered by what I've read concerning Boomer's situation so I spoke with Jason about it. He told me that,"Boomer has been paid". I don't know who to believe! This is a very unfortunate situation for everyone involved. We need to get to the bottom of this!!

Jeff could not have been plainer that the tapes prove Ray Meyers is a liar and thief.

Are you are seriously suggesting that Jeff and Bettorsworld are in some kind of conspiracy with Boomer against Ray Meyers?!?

Or are you suggesting that it is OK to stiff Boomer and other customers as long as they pay you? And, if so, why are you so sure you will not one day be stiffed as well?

Jason, how can you say I've been paid when you have access to my deleted account and you were there when Ray Meyers told me flat out he wasn't going to pay me. How can you stand there and lie for Ray Meyers knowing I have tape recordings of yourself saying I would get paid when he gets back and than a tape recording from today from Ray Meyers saying he would pay me zero.

This tape recording of your lying cheating boss will be published on this site for all to decide. If I received my $8,608, Jason and Brett, what it the check number and where is my endorsement on the back of the check. You are definitely now a co-conspirator, Jason, and a liar and thief who will NEVER work in this business again after Action Sports goes down for good.

I wasn't doubting you, I guess I was just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I believe that you've been stiffed and I e-mailed Jason telling him that I am disappointed with the situation. My earlier post may have lead you and others to believe that I was siding with Action, even though I wasn't. You know that I defended you when you first posted this information. This is just too difficult for me to figure out. Or maybe I'm just looking at it from a peculiar angle. Unless I'm mistaken, there wasn't that much prior controversy about Action not paying. I know Jeff mentioned this is not the first time etc. but this wasn't a clear scamster situation right? Well given that, and given that you don't have to be a professional pollster to see that Action is getting buried public opinion wise, why are they doing this. I mean how much is $8000+ to a sportsbook or to any semi-successful business.Or has this all gotten to the "its now personal" stage. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally on Boomers' side on this. I'm just trying to understand what Action can gain from taking the position they've taken. Surely it must be more than
just stiffing him. In the grander scheme of things its just not that much money. Besides if they're going to make a getaway, why not stiff everyone? There is something I'm obviously missing here.

When you and others hear the tape recording of the conversation between Ray Meyer and myself, I promise you any trepidation or willingness to hear their side of the story will be gone.

That have no side, straight and forward, he tell's me he's screwing me and there's nothing I can do about it. Those who have heard Ray Meyers incriminate himself are shocked and in disbelief not only at his crookedness, but also at his stupidity.

Everyone who gets wind of this will be removing whatever money they think they have left there. Action Sports will be no more and I believe this Ray Meyers will either be incarcarated or a fugitive. Mark my words...

Boomer, I'm sorry about your loss. We're lucky to have you in this forum. In hindsight, you may have had a better chance of getting paid had you kept quiet about the situation. Your posts could have caused a "run on the book" with other BW readers trying to cash out ASAP. Eventually, Meyers would have stiffed other new players. Thanks to you, he won't get the chance. I'm sure he'll be out of business very soon since he won't have any new money coming in.

Its not enough to slam him in bworld, there are tons of other sites, Lots of other advertising avenues for action sports to pursue, if you are doubting wether or not bworld alone is enough take a look at their relationship with E-S-B, they are still around aren't they?

That is why its important to get the word out to as many people as possible. Its not enough to keep this info confined to this site, more needs to be done.

Funny, as soon as i read boomers posts, i knew that they would respond that action would stiff him (or keep on stiffing him depending on your interpretation ) But Boomer had probably written off the money anyway and is now trying to get some restitution, can't say i blame him. If i were in Boomer's shoes here is how i would have looked at it:

These guys are j-er-king me around, are stiffing me for $8K, lets see if i can't cost them a little more than that. - this is precisely what boomer is doing, and it'll work.

It hasn't worked yet, i doubt Action Sports got much action from Bworld anyway, as i have said, there is a huge world out there to advertise with, this is just a small, small, piece of the pie.

First off i would take the route that boomer is taking by dealing with the gov't down there. Talk to Action Sports' current advertising outlets, their financial institutions, etc. Heck i would even go so far as to call every sportsbook i dealt with and let them know about it - lets see how much lay off action Action and their 5cent lines would get then.

Finally I say lets get a website up with the real audio files of the conversation, the screen shots, testimonials, and then submit it to some search engines. Thats what i would do.
