Raves to Royal for spelling it out. Those who don't are operating by unwritten rules. Books who operate by unwritten rules are just asking for a dispute. Players who play there are just asking to get stiffed.

        Reno ---

Whoever the "respected" member is who discouraged you from posting about your bonus "shafting" was certainly NOT operating in the spirit of this forum, but concerened with self interests only. "Don't ruffle the books" was essentially the advice. How can someone advise that. Why----- look at the massive support BOOMER received in this forum when told us of his sportsbook woes.

The benefit and life-blood of this forum is the "heads-up" on places that are renegging, changing rules, slowpaying, false advertising, stiffing and other occurences that are outside the boundaries of fair play and honesty.

        I don't get it......Dot

Dot Mix, you are right. The sportsbook is Post Time. Let emphasize that apart from not receiving a post-up bonus, I have no complaints about Post Time. They are an excellent sportsbook.

Don Best, I seem to vaguely remember Sammy Davis Jr. appearing on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and describing a physical altercation that caused him to lose his eye.

Reno, thanks for filling us in.

Is this a new account, or re-deposit? According to their website, new accounts get 10$ bonus. Upgrades to existing accounts get 10$ perhaps only on Thursdays.

Big Money, this was a brand new account. I had never played with Post Time before. And again, the customer rep said I would receive a 10% bonus. It wasn't until after I sent the money that I was informed that I was excluded from receiving a bonus because of the city I live in.

                  Big Hands-

"these guys are insulting your family heritage and you as well".

While it is certainly a heinous, horrible transgression by this book that Reno didn't get his bonus, let's not get dramatic here.

                  Reno,

I hope that your family heritage emerges intact after this episode. If not, there is only the 'lack of bonus paid by PT' to be blamed. And they say Kyl is wrong.

This is a perfect example of somebody who has been persecuted because of his location. Not only that, his whole 'value structure and family heritage', that has been ingrained in him since birth is in grave peril. And for what? A renegade book that won't pay a bonus....What a horrible shame.

                      Thanks Reno for the info.

I'm a recreational player yet I run with about 6-8 accounts at most times. Under no circumstances will I contribute to the support of a sportsbook that pulls that crap on anyone. Players who "buckle in" when these places change the rules in mid-stream only reinforces their likliehood to continue doing it. In my opinion the player becomes as much as much a whore as the book themselves.

                        Dana,
I believe I read a Playboy interview with SD Jr. stating that he lost his eye in a racially motivated fight. It might have happened in the Army.

Another thing that Post Time should make clear is their Thursday "re-up bonus" Your deposit has to arrive on Thursday. If you mail a check by Fedex on Thursday, you don't get a bonus.

Big Hands, Kosar is absolutely right. Post Time in no way insulted my racial heritage.
I like to write entertaining, off-the-wall posts, but to be perfectly frank, I've got as little respect for exoteric Judaism as I do Christianity.

One poster complained that Bettorsworld is no longer a fit forum for Christian sportsbettors. Well, after this post, I'll also drive off the Jews. And when I do my Thailand post, I'll get rid of the Buddhists.

Seriously, all that Passover means to is to simply pass it over. I am at odds with my sister, who forces her two sons to attend synagogue and go to Hebrew school. The boys would naturally prefer to play baseball and ride their skateboards. Instead, they study a language that would only be useful to a scholar studying Cabalism. When I tell the boys that it is terrible that their mother forces them to to waste precious week-end play time for B.S. religious crap, she throws a sh1t fit, and tells me to shut-up and stop influencing the boys.

Karl Marx was wrong about a lot of things, but he hit the nail on the head when he said conventional religion is the opiate of the masses.

I just thought of a great futures bet for a sportsbook: Which is most likely to happen first? :1) Jesus returns. 2) The Jewish Messiah appears. 3) Bowman's offers on-line wagering.
