  • "free"? islandexpress?

my first post and i have to gripe..lol guess ill fit right in.

it appears to me that best was forced BY THE BOOKS to start charging. the books are tired of getting beat by nickle and dime players like myself and probably most of you. no one winning less than 1,000 a month would pay 99.00 a month for the service cus it wont pay. you going to give more than 10% of your winnings for info?? i dont think soooooo....they want us using old info and bad lines !!!
the late breaking info? that was on the free service before, not as a pop up window but it was there, now the line moves and you dont have a clue as to why. AND THATS THE WAY THE BOOKS WANT IT FOR US SMALL PLAYERS!!!! NO CLUES....WE LOSE!!!!!!!
also ughhh your going to remove books that dont update?? i havent seen an intertops line this baseball season yet! premiere league has lines up and they dont even exsist!!!! island international is another that rarely even posts lines much less update..they aren't going anywhere and neither will anyone else...several books are listed with incorrect vigs...(listed as dimes but charge twenty or vice versa.) i think they could write "your screwed" up there as long as they pay the bill....

now...could this be the reason we havent seen the bettorsworld line service yet??? maybe some pressure from the books ?????

Interesting theory, but I disagree.....A books product, is it's line. It does them no good to keep that info from you. Their lines are there for the players to bet into. If a sportsbook feels any other way, then they don't belong in this business.

As for the late breaking info/injuries and what not, I think charging for that info is justified. No question the books would prefer players didn't have that info, but I don't think they had anything to do with the decision to go back to $99.

In time, there will be other options for players both big and small. But for now..........
