  • why not paypal?

hi guys, why all the fuss over taxes?anybody who is sportsbetting offshore should have a paypal account.i here people saying they dont like it,the reason is most players credit cards are are maxed out and they cant open an account.i had a long talk with a rep at paypal and was assured that my account would never be looked at for anything other then fraud,if you have a non interest account you are safe.have the sports book pay the money to your account then take the paypal atm card down to the bank and take out the money(cash)do you really think the IRS is going to look at all these accounts(10 million)and get after you?anybody that pays taxes on gambling winnings is an absolute fool period.if you use paypal your sleepless nights are over.

I dunno. From what I understand, neteller is the way to go these days. More sportsbook friendly.

That sounds good but when you use the Paypal ATM you have a daily limit $200 ATM and $500 purchase.

Not very good for a heavy hitter looking to withdrawl more.

I'll tell you what.....I think Pay pal a great transfer method, BUT I have heard some things over the last week or so that are kind of disturbing.

I'll be able to elaborate when the player lets me know how it all shakes out, but it honestly has me concerned as far as Pay Pal seemingly being able to do whatever they want with your money.

I think Chesterockwells was referring to something similar not long ago.......

Jeff, I went through a rocky patch with Pay Pal locking my account. As you know contacting their customer service is hopeless and gets you nowhere. If it wasn't for an email address I found directly to someone at Pay Pal my account would probably still be locked. It's kind of frightening if you think about it.

As for Neteller, I've always had a very high opinion of Dave Kahane for the personal level of customer service he provides us all with. It still is the transfer method of choice among sportsbooks, though I believe it is a more expensive option from their point of view.

Looks like Neteller is king. How can a company operate with no phones? Crazy.
