Note: I will no longer post qual matchups here until practice starts and the qual matchups go off the board. I'll still post them up after they go OTB for my personal record keeping. I'll still put up my race bets as usual. I'm doing this because 2/3 books that I bet qual matchups with have lowered their limits significantly. Soon, they might not offer them anymore so I have to look out for myself and thus will not post the qual matchups until they go OTB.

I figured this was coming. I noticed last week that Oly took 2 of your plays off the board. What a bunch of crap. JUst move the lines accordingly, for god's sake! They sure don't mind taking our money. Why the hell won't they pay us our money. Maybe you should move to NV and make plays there.....legally. Or, start a website and service. That way you could get your money without messing with these low-life books. Just let your clients deal with them.

      Good luck to you,

      rick

Well FWIW I'm doing better w/ race bets this year than qualifying bets. There are only a couple of books out there that offer qual matchups, and if they are losing money on them, it makes sense for them to lower the limits.

Holy Crap, Dylan! Well over 100 units wagered on one day of QUALIFYING? WOW!

            Good luck to you,

yeah, its the most bets i've ever made for qual. all those matchups fit my system for either 5/10 unit plays, so I had to bet them all. if the drivers can maintain their numbers from practice, i should do well.

Environment for NASCAR betting has gone way downhill.

Last year, you could play qualifying matchups at Olympic for 3 dimes, and could also play qualifying matchups at Players Only, Royal, Intertops, IIS, WSEX, and odds to win the pole at CRIS late in the year.

This year, we are down to Pinnacle, Olympic (500 on matchups), WWTS (300 on matchups) and sometimes Intertops. Would not be surprised to see the betting option vanish all together.

On the race side, things are worse as well.
                WIT is no longer around.
Most other shops are going up later than they used to.
Vegas has gone downhill as well. Mirage properties who use to take 3 dimes on a matchup no longer offer matchups except for races like the Daytona 500 and Las Vegas.

Dylan, have been following your plays for a couple of years now.
Kind of curious, which shop do you think has the sharpest NASCAR lines?

what a horrible day. based on practice speeds, i should have made 49 units. instead i lose 17 units. 66 unit swing. the last couple of weeks, there has been big changes from practice results to qual results.

hamhog, i agree w/ your comments regarding qual matchups.

as for books, pinnacle offers good value on "to win" bets.
5dimes has every race matchup, but have a 500 dollar limit..so if you want to bet a dime, you can bet a nickel and the line will move 20 cents, and you can bet your 2nd nickel. olympic allows 3k per race matchup, but they usually have tough matchups. canbet has the same race matchups as pinnacle but you will get better lines (for favs) at pinnacle most times.
