NFL…
Only Minnesota and Kansas remain undefeated after week seven, and they now head the market for the Super Bowl at 11/2 and 6/1 respectively. Kansas became the first team to win seven games, their victory in Oakland coming despite the Raiders being ½ yard short of tying the game when time expired. Tampa once again showed their Achilles heel by allowing the 49ers to run the ball straight down their throats, and is now out to 7/1 for outright honours. Carolina was given a reality check by the Titans as the Panthers lost their unbeaten record, while Dallas, only marginal favourites at Detroit, roared to a 31 point victory. Dallas (8/11) is now in pole position for the NFC East but the schedule gets tougher from now on, starting with the ‘hurting’ Bucs next weekend!
This week’s first live In-Running game has the Ravens hosting the Denver Broncos in what could be a tight contest. Denver’s quarterback crisis worsened on the weekend when back-up passer Steve Beuerlein broke the little finger on his right hand during their loss to Minnesota. They will be hoping that their running game can get on track to take the pressure of the quarterback, though this may be difficult against the Ray Lewis led Ravens defence. In Sunday night’s other live game, the Bills look capable of keeping it close against the Chiefs. Monday night’s match up has the Dolphins travelling west to take on the Chargers, look towards a great running back dual between Ricky Williams and Ladainian Tomlinson.
Bet the following Week 8 games In-Running this weekend including: Game Handicap/Moneyline; Game Total; Next Scoring Play Will Be; and Team to Score Next:

HOU Texans @ IND Colts - Sun Oct 26 4:15 pm

Horseracing…
Its all systems go for the connections of Falbrav after confirming their star for the ‘Turf’ at this weekend’s Breeders Cup meeting. He is disputing favouritism for the event with Sulanami, controversially awarded the Arlington Million last time after first past the post Storming Home jinked violently after crossing the line, giving his jockey Gary Stevens a horrific fall in the process. Steven’s has made a miraculous recovery to ride the horse again in the Turf, and has been making some bullish noises about his chances. Don’t discount High Chaparral however, whose trainer Aidan O’Brien, no stranger to success at this meeting, believes he will love the trip and the lightning fast ground. In the ‘Mile’ European hopes were dealt a blow when both Oasis Dream and Six Perfections were dealt the dreaded double figure draw, and were pushed out to 11/2 behind favourite Special Ring (5/1).
Golf…
Tiger Woods goes into this weeks Funai Classic of Disney with his eye on yet another record to his name, namely the Tour record for cuts made. If he does make it to the weekend, a pretty safe bet considering his recent form and record in this event, he’ll tie Byron Nelson’s Tour record of 113 events in the money. With Player of the Year honours and No.1 spot on the Money List up for grabs, expect Tiger to bring his A game to Florida this week. At this time of year it also pays to keep an eye on the ‘bubble’ players who are out to earn enough cash to ensure their playing rights for next season. This can be particularly relevant when choosing your 2 ball picks for the weekend, with players like Pat Bates, currently 124th in earnings, and who missed last years cut by a shot after calling a penalty shot on himself, more likely than most to be ‘shooting down the pin’ when it matters!
During live TV coverage of this event we will be offering backers the chance to bet In-Running, including our exclusive ‘Next Hole’ betting on selected 2/3 balls, which offers you the chance to bet on the ‘Next Hole Winner’, and the ‘Next Hole Total Score’, as well as Outright Winner.
NASCAR…
Bobby LaBonte is an 8/1 shot to repeat his March success at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Sunday’s ‘Georgia 500’, behind favourite Ryan Newman (6/1).
