(January 5th, 2001) San Jose, Costa Rica--Starting January 8th, Las Palmas’ betting lines will no longer be available on the Don Best Premium Service screen. Las Palmas lines will remain on the Don Best Island Express. As previously mentioned in this forum, Las Palmas was recently acquired by WIT Sports. It is our intention to offer, through Las Palmas, many one-of-a-kind and just plain better wagering options geared toward the smaller player and that this customer is best served by Island Express. In fact at Las Palmas our motto is “where the little guy is king”.
WIT will continue on the Don Best Premium Service, as our high-end clientele is best served by the Premium Service. We are grateful and pleased with our past relationship with Don Best and are looking forward with anticipation the new Don Best screen, which should provide us the ability to display everything we offer. WIT/Las Palmas is committed to giving our customers what they want and can best accomplish this by focusing specifically on the high-end player at WIT and the smaller player at Las Palmas.
