    West Virginia @ Miami (-25.5) (O/U 55)

The ever powerful Miami Hurricanes haven't looked as dominant as their record may indicate. The 'Canes haven't dropped 40 points on someone since the first game against Louisiana Tech. when they won 48-9. They are averaging 39.2 points per game though which is respectable. The one glaring problem is the efficiency of the offense in Miami. They have scored 20 TD's this season with 7 of those coming from the defense and/or special teams. The 'Canes also lead the Big East in penalties. For most, errr, ALL teams, it is the sheer mystique of playing in the Orange Bowl that have given Miami such an edge over most visitors.
West Virginia on the other hand is having a hard time putting points on the board. Rasheed Marshall, WVU QB, did beat Pitt and Va. Tech last season on the road, but so far has been a little inconsistent. The Cavaliers are averaging 21.25 points per game this season and have only allowed 1 non-offensive TD and that was the 1st possession, in the 1st game this season against Wisconsin.
With Miami's next game coming against Florida State, I can see the 'Canes overlooking this one. Not they won't win, but they will play a little softer and lay up late in the game. The key to this game is WVU's ability to limit Miami's defense or ST from scoring. If that happens, we can actually envision a HUGE upset with a WVU win SU.
Miami is 0-2 ATS at home this year while WVU is 1-1 ATS on the road. There are too many variables here in favor of WVU.

    We like:

    WVU +25.5
    WVU/Miami OVER 55

    Good Luck,
