    NBA FREEBIE: 2* LAC/CLE OVER

The Los Angeles Clippers try for their first five-game winning streak in eight years on Tuesday when they begin a three-game road trip against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Clippers have won four in a row after opening the season with consecutive losses to the Seattle SuperSonics in Japan. They have not won five straight games since November 10-17, 1995, when they finished just 29-53. Los Angeles continued to play without forward Elton Brand, who has missed the last five games with a stress fracture in his right foot and was placed on the injured list Saturday.

Cleveland has won three consecutive home games after posting a 91-88 overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. Zydrunas Ilgauskas collected 28 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three blocks and rookie LeBron James added 22 points and eight assists for the Cavaliers, who snapped a 16-game slide to the 76ers. Carlos Boozer had 15 points and 15 rebounds, Darius Miles grabbed 12 boards and Chris Mihm had a career-high six blocks as Cleveland blocked 17 shots.

James and Ilgauskas lead 5 Cavs scoring in DD with 16+ PPG apiece while the Clips are led by Richardson and Maggette who are both pumping in more than 20 PPG.

LA started the year by running the over in 5 straight before missing the mark in Orlando. Even so, this team runs and scores forcing the opposition into that kind of game. With the gunners playing for Cleveland this one could be over early in the 4th quarter.
