TB -8.5 vs Atlanta
This is a copycat league and what better team to copy Indy's successful blueprint last week than Tampa Bay? TB is getting good production from Thomas Jones and still has a passer in Brad Johnson who wins more games than he losses. Spurn value and lay the points. I'm looking for this to go under by TB's defense.
Minnesota +3 KC
Minnesota has more to play for here. They are at home, where they have dropped a couple suspect games but are still stong. Their defense is weak, but it is more air than ground and KC scares me with Priest than Green. Minnesota has value, so play it. I'm looking for this to go under, with ground games stalling.
Jets -3 NE
If you read this, you know I favor Chad Pennington. But the Jets played poorly in the snow last week and the late night cold weather isn't to their favor. At the end of the day, the Jets aren't a very good football team and NE could have an easy time with them on the lines. Curtis Martin may have played well in the snow, but everyone else was runnin' slow.
