  • Orlando at Philly preview and pick

    7pm ET
    Orlando Magic @ Philadelphia 76ers

Hot versus cold tonight and we'll go with the Orlando Magic to get an important road win at Philadelphia.

Orlando are 8-2 ATS recently in this series and we expect them to have too much offensive firepower tonight.

The Magic have won six and covered seven of their last eight games following a horrendous start to the season. They have been impressive recently winning at Toronto last night, routing Golden State at home and also beating Indiana on the road. Orlando have won four of their last five road games and their 97 points per game during this stretch will worry a 76ers line-up that hasn't scored more than 87 points in any of their last six games. Following the embarrassment of the Magic's record losing streak earlier this season it's unlikely they will be satisfied with three straight wins and we expect them to play hard again tonight.

The 76ers are struggling to cope with the absence of Allen Iverson and have won just one of their last five games. They have lost at home recently to the Nuggets, Jazz and Cavaliers and all of those losses were by at least 7 points. Philly are just 1-6 ATS their last seven games at the Wachovia Center and it's worth noting their long-term record - had you faded them in every home game the last three seasons you would be hitting at almost 60% ATS.

While we expect the Magic to win this one outright the 76ers are a low-scoring team so we'll take the luxury of getting points.

    Recommended Play: Orlando Magic +2.5
