Whether I am lucky or wether I am good so far, I don't know. I just know that it is fun betting football again. Lets see if my good luck continues. All plays for just one unit in the preseason.
denver -2 (-110) vs detroit...............I don't know if it is my imagination or not, because I don't look at alot of stats and numbers for preseason, but denver is one of those teams that like to win in the preseason, so i think I will just stick with them.
atlanta -3 (-120) vs new england.............As much as denver likes to win preseason games, I don't think the pats care very much. I think some of the also ran teams like to win preseason games vs what are normally good regular season nfl teams. I am hoping the falcons come to play in front of the home folks tonight, I think they will.
jets +3.5 (-115) vs tampa bay........Not sure why I like this one, more of a gut feeling I guess. I just smell a field goal game for some reason and if that is the case, that extra half point can be huge.
Once again it seems that unders are the way to go in week one of the preseason, so I am going to play under on the games below.
under 37.5 (-110) denver/detroit
under 35.5 (-110) new england/atlanta
under 33.5 (-110) tampa bay/jets
If I was smart, I would probably take the under in the other two games as well, but something tells me not to push my luck. It will be interesting to see how many of the five games go under.
