  • Dragon1952 - NFL Week 5

    To date:
    13-18 sides
    2-4 totals

Indianapolis -18.5 vs Tennessee - Blowout city time. Indy did beat Houston by 19 earlier and Tennessee certainly has proven they can lose by this much with 31 and 33 pt losses already.
Indianapolis/Tennessee OV 48 - Throw out the Jacksonville result and the Colts games already have 47, 67 and 59 pt totals. Also Indy does give up an avg of about 23 pts and Tennessee has scored in double digits 3 out of 4.
Pittsburgh +3 at San Diego- These are the world champs after all and Schottenheimer has the Chargers 'O' on a short leash, although after taking some heat last week he may relent some......nah!.... he'll never change And I just can't see Pittsburgh playing 3 stinkers in a row.
Washington +4.5 at N.Y. Giants- Redskin 'O' clicking pretty good last 2 games and Giants 'D' giving up a lot of pts. Giants will have to win by at least 6 most likely for the cover.
New Orleans -7 vs Tampa Bay- The Saints return home this week to face the winless Bucs who are last in the NFL in rushing with only an avg of 43 yds per game and now a rookie QB. You would think anything would be an improvement over Simms though. Atlanta burned the Buc 'D' for over 300 yds rushing and they gave up over 100 in the other 2 games so it will be interesting to see what McAllister and Bush might be able to do.
Philadelphia -1.5 vs Dallas - Philly, especially McNabb, has to be fired up for this. The fans will be extra special raucous also. I just can't believe that Dallas is going to walk out of there with a win, and that's no doubt what's going to have to happen for them to cover.
San Francisco/Oakland OV 40 - The 49er's have given up over 30 pts 3 out of 4 and the Raiders have given up 24 or more in all 3 games. Also, lots of mistakes (turnovers and penalties), which these teams have a knack for, can add up to lots of pts.
