Highly touted WR Greg Jennings is off his crutches and seems to be walking much better than earlier in the week. Jennings will still most likely miss this weeks game against the Arizona Cardinals but things are looking better as he recovers from a sprained ankle. "Jennings is a lot better today than we anticipated," McCarthy said. "He's off the crutches. He's going to try to give it a run."

Sean Locklear - G, Seattle Seahawks 10/28/2006
The NFL has suspended Seattle Seahawks starting right tackle Sean Locklear for Sundays game for violating the leagues personal conduct policy. In January, Locklear was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend outside a Seattle night spot. Locklear's suspension will cost the lineman $25,000 in salary. He is eligible to return to the Seattle roster on Monday.

DeAngelo Williams returned to practice on Friday after being held out on Wednesday and Thursday while he recovers from a mild high ankle sprain. He remains questionable to play this week against the visiting Cowboys.

Damon Huard suffered a groin strain in practice late Thursday and remains a game time decision for the Sunday game against the Seattle. Huard is listed as questionable to play. "He's not excited about it, neither are we, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be ready to play on Sunday," GM Carl Peterson said. "It's called the National Football League. You’ve got to be prepared for the unexpected. That’s why we kept four quarterbacks this year."
