    Frank Gore - RB, San Francisco 49ers 11/20/2006

    San Francisco running back Frank Gore was literally unstoppable Sunday as he carried the ball 24 times for a team record 212 yards and also had 4 catches for 26 yards on the day. "We want to let everybody know the 49ers are coming on," said Gore.

    Shaun Alexander - RB, Seattle Seahawks 11/20/2006

    Last years' NFL MVP Shaun Alexander returned to the field Sunday in the Seahawks 20-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers at Monster Park. Alexander has been out for nearly 2 months nursing a broken foot injury sustained against the New York Giants on September 24th. Alexander carried the ball 17 times for 37 yards on the day.

    DeShaun Foster - RB, Carolina Panthers 11/20/2006

    RB Deshaun Foster left the Panthers game against the Rams early with an elbow injury sustained following a 2-yard run. His status for the upcoming game against Washington will be evaluated further this week.

    Marques Colston - WR, New Orleans Saints 11/20/2006

    The New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston was injured early in the first quarter of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday. He sustained an ankle injury which will be evaluated further on Monday to determine the severity.

    Kevin Jones - RB, Detroit Lions 11/20/2006

    RB Kevin Jones of the Detroit Lions left the game early in the first quarter on Sunday with the Arizona Cardinals when he sustained an ankle injury and did not return. Jones, who has been having a great season in Mike Martz's offense will have a short week to heal since the Lions will be hosting the Miami Dolphins Thursday on Thanksgiving Day.

    Brett Favre - QB, Green Bay Packers 11/20/2006

    Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre was injured Sunday when he was hit by the Patriots Tedy Bruschi on a play late in the second quarter. Favre came down on his right elbow injuring the nerve and would not be able to return to the game after halftime. "He took a shot on the elbow," McCarthy said. "He was not able to gain strength in his hand, as far as holding the football, controlling the football.

    Donovan McNabb - QB, Philadelphia Eagles 11/20/2006

    Donovan McNabb tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)in his right knee on Sunday and for the third time in the last five years will finish the season on injured reserve. McNabb was just bumped out of bounds during the game against the Titans when he injured himself. "That's normally an eight-month-to-a-year injury," HC Andy Reid said, "so he's done for the year."

    Lamont Jordan - RB, Oakland Raiders 11/20/2006

    Lamont Jordan has torn the medial collateral ligament in his left knee and is expected to miss the rest of the season. Jordan was injured in the first quarter of the Chiefs game.
