For the NCAA BB Championship game, we'll use the USA Today opening line. Final game is worth 3pts. As suggeated by Wisconson and dkp, we'll use a couple of tiebreakers for the 6 contestants in the running for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Here they are:
601 Mich St +7.5
602 N. Carolina -7.5
After selecting one of the above winners, the tiebreakers are:
1st Tie breaker: Final total of game points scored (includes OT, if necessary)by each team: Eg.,Mich St 68 - North Carolina 65 or North Carolina 74 - Mich. St 66. Should there be a tie for final points scored total, who ever is closet to the actual score is the winner.
2nd Tie breaker: Should by chance 2 or 3 of the contestants select the identical total points for each team (highly unlikely, but still possible), what is the point margin of the team leading at half-time. Examples:
0 (zero) score is tied, MSU 34 - UNC 34 or
3 points, MSU leads by 3 points, MSU 36 - UNC 33 or
4 points, UNC leads by 4 points, UNC 41- MSU 37.
Good luck!
