I will be the first to tell you at times, I talk smack. This is for real, Maybe I got lucky as yardman has said when I went 18-3 on my sec picks. But those of you who are smart take note: Looking over next years sec schedule; Who in the hell is going to beat Alabama?
Sec schedules are brutal. Bama has dates at Tennessee, LSU, and at South Carolina. Not to metion Penn st. at T Town. That being said; All the offense that matters except Colin Peek return. Mark Ingram, Julio Jones, Marquis Maze, Trent Richardson(who will break every Alabama rushing record ever) and qb Greg McElrloy who has never lost a game.
Now lets talk about the defense that I said in September last year was the best in the nation(which they were). They will be better this year!!! The loss of (fellow red raider) Rolando McClain is huge. Would be a junior next year, but who could blame him for going pro. What do we do? Simple, you replace him with Donte Hightower, who was the best player on the best defense in the nation last year before he got hurt in the Arkansas game last year. Just imagine if he would have not got hurt last year. Probably would have been one of the best defenses ever in college football.
How will he come off the injury? Will he be the same? Jury is out; Either way, They will be the best defense in the nation next year. All who do not believe, well; wager against them and me and lose your ass!!!! Are they going to win the national championship next year? Well, I won't say that, but I will say WHO IS GOING TO BEAT THEM?
