    Michael Clayton - WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 12/5/2006

    Starting Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Michael Clayton has been placed on the IR ending his 2006 NFL season. Clayton, a third year wideout, suffered a left knee injury in the Buccaneers loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday. The Buccaneeers signed Mark Jones to fill Clayton's roster spot with the team.

    Charlie Frye - QB, Cleveland Browns 12/5/2006

    Cleveland Browns quarterback Charlie Frye is listed as questionable for the teams week 13 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Frye, who injured his wrist in Sunday's win over the Kansas City Chiefs underwent X-Ray's and an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. It was determined that the wrist was not broken but that Frye had a bone bruise on the wrist of his throwing hand. "We're going to rest him and treat him and see how it is," Crennel said.

    DeAngelo Williams - RB, Carolina Panthers 12/5/2006

    Rookie running back DeAngelo Williams was on his game Monday night despite the Panthers 27-24 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Williams, the Panthers first round pick from Memphis State, carried the ball 17 times for 74 yards and also caught 7 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.

    Jeff Garcia - QB, Philadelphia Eagles 12/5/2006

    The Philadelphia Eagles answered some major questions Monday night as they defeated the Carolina Panthers without Donovan McNabb 27-24. The main factor of the game was backup quarterback Jeff Garcia who despite jeers from fans early in the game, put up a solid performance. Garcia completed 21/39 for 312 yards and 3 touchdowns in the steller performance to keep the Eagles playoff hopes alive. "It's been a while since I felt this well about a game, the way we played," Garcia said. "We never gave up, scratched and clawed for every inch out there."

    Eugene Wilson - CB, New England Patriots 12/5/2006

    The problems for the New England Patriots secondary continues as the team had to place starting cornerback Eugene Wilson on the injured reserve list Monday. The fourth year veteran Wilson has been hampered by lingering hamstring problems this season and has played in only four games for the Patriots.

    Brad Johnson - QB, Minnesota Vikings 12/5/2006

    The veteran Brad Johnson has struggled mightily for the Vikings the past few weeks and after the Week 13 performance may be on his way to the bench. Johnson completed 11/26 passes for 73 yards and 4 interceptions in the Vikings 23-13 loss to the Bears. Minnesota appears to be ready to give rookie Tarvaris Jackson a chance to lead the offense as he is touted as their quarterback of the future.
