after he was not given the head coaching job
upon hensons retirement
Playing at the United Center is Home away
from Home for Illinois who has a 15 game winning
streak at UC spanning over 5 years.
The Big NEWS for the Illini is that they are
HEALTHY, BRIAN RANDLE (The Freak) called that
for his athletic ability returns back from surgery
to play today, Randle is on Woodens preseason award
watch list this year. This 6-6 slasher will be a
a huge positive to this team, Illinois is HEALTHY
Jamar Smith the sophmore shooting phenom is
starting to feel his game, hitting over 59% from long
range, going 5-5 in his last game.
6-9 Sr Warren Carter is becoming
a FORCE DOWN LOW, and keeps improving
every game.
UIC does not defend well, especially on the
outside permiter, They dont have a bench and
will not be able to run with Illinois for a whole
40 minutes. I look for Illinois to pull away
and never look back early in the second half....
My numbers show Illinois by 18, I am running
with Illinois and giving up the 10....
