    Nuggets -4.5

The Nuggets lost the first meeting between those two teams last week at home after leading by 15 points in the fourth quarter. They got the lead and they quit. The Hawks went into the zone in the fourth quarter and got some key stops for some key baskets and of course they got plenty of luck. Good news for the Nuggets is that they get to see the Hawks again today in Atlanta. This game will surely be different. It's gonna be a dogfight. Denver embarrassed their selves as a team and now they have to get their pride back.

The Nuggets are going to win tonight. They are in no position to take the Hawks lightly, not after the loss in their home floor. They are a much better overall team and should be able to dominate the flow of the game ... especially offensively Carmelo Anthony should have his way with the Hawks. Coach George Karl has had time to prepare the Nuggets on how to attack the zone better, everyone is healthy and it's Atlanta`s first game back after a long road trip.

The Hawks got a taste at what their team would look like without leading scorer Joe Johnson. Without him the Hawks were thrashed 117-92 by the Sacramento Kings. The Hawks had season-high 26 turnovers that the Kings converted into a whopping 37 points. The Hawks trailed 92-62 at the start of the fourth quarter and things went from bad to worse in the final 12 minutes. Enough said.

The Nuggets didn’t respect the Hawks last week and they got burned. Tonight’s game is not going to be given to Atlanta, no matter if JJ is in or out. We expect the hungry and angry Nuggets taking their frustrations out on the Hawks and simply find a way to win. Away team to cover with high stakes.
