The Louisville Cardinals are 12-0 ATS versus an ACC opponent
off a SU win.
How does Wake Forest do it? They are just about last on the ACC
pecking order on recruiting day, they have one player, maybe, who
will be chosen in the fi rst three rounds of the NFL draft, and they
have played most of the season, as they will today, without their
best QB and their best RB. With all that negative karma, Wake
won 11 of its 13 games, the ACC championship and covered all
eight times is was an underdog. Before you get too enamored of
the Deacons, this week's INCREDIBLE STAT (page 2) tells us that
Louisville is a perfect 12-0 ATS in its last dozen tries against ACC
teams who are off a win – and 35-1 SU (23-13 ATS) as favorites of
-7 or more under Bobby Petrino. The only negative for Louie is that
3-0 SUATS bowl chalk is 18-33 ATS in their last 51 tries. Can Wake
make it seven wins in a row against Big East opposition?
